    Hello,

In preparing for the first mailing, I'm wondering what to do about the letterhead. As we don't yet have an office or UPS P.O. box, would you put your home address as a reference address? We also don't have an 800 number yet and are wondering if we should delay the first mailing until we have it set up (we are mailing to all out of state owners first). Any thoughts?
    Thanks,
    Becky

    hi Becky,

Getting such a UPS Stor P.O. Box should be fairly fast but some of them are full and you need to wait until they have a space open.
But that should not hold you up.

Yes, use can use your home address and then change it over to the PO box when you have it.

for phone, you can use your Cell phone number but be prepared for people to call at any time of the day (or night) because they think you are a "professional business" where we can call any time and at least leave a message. That's why i recommend the Cell phone, because that one you can TURN OFF at night, and let people go into voice mail.

Here is a better option though.

they offer Virtual Assistant services, you get a 800 number, voice mail, and you can tell the system when you are availalbe and when not.
I have never used this particular company but what they descrive is a similar system to what I used when I started out.
also check out their story http://www.800voicemail.net/typical_day.htm

there is always a way, and rarely a reason to postpone a mailing :)

    hope this helps,
    Jack
